Our signature Move Camp (class), is your answer to a full body, butt kicking workout!  We got tired of other fitness groups calling their classes “Boot Camps”, which can be pretty intimidating to some just looking for a workout.  So we designed our own program, minus the Drill Sergeant.  Move Camp is a group exercise atmosphere that combines upper and lower body strength training, with cardiovascular exercises to keep your heart rate up.  As with all our programs, this workout is made for all fitness levels, so you can be comfortable going at your own pace when achieving your goals.  But don’t get us wrong, it will still be a challenging workout, as our Instructors make sure that you are getting the full benefits and giving your best!  After a workout, you might think for one second that you are at boot camp.

Training Methods Incorporated:

  • Resistance training using dumbbells, stretch bands, and body weight exercises

  • Core exercises targeting the abdominal and lower back

  • Functional exercises (Movements you use in everyday life such as bending, twisting, and lifting)

  • Plyometric drills

  • Interval training

  • Aerobic training

  • Partner exercises

Every Tuesday and Thursdays from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Class Details: Please bring your own dumbbells (A light and heavy pair, or adjustable dumbbells), a towel and/or mat, and water to stay hydrated. We recommend a weight range between 5-12lbs for dumbbells. For your convenience we have monthly dumbbell rentals ranging from 5-10lbs, for only $15 a pair, or $25 for two pairs. Please let us know when registering, and your instructor will have it ready for you on your first day of class. Due to weather conditions classes may be canceled on any given day at the instructors discretion, but will be made up at a later date.

-If entering Diamond Head entrance of Ala Moana Beach park: Follow main road into park, passing the canoes on your right, and the large parking lot on your left side. On your right you will see an outdoor gym area, we are located on your left directly across the outdoor gym, along the wall and grass area.

-If entering Ewa end entrance of Ala Moana Beach park: Follow main road into park passing the tennis courts on your left side. Keep on the main road until you see the last lifeguard stand on your right along with the showers and bathroom area. We are located in the grassy area along the wall, across of the outdoor gym, at the entrance of the walkway going into the park.

What are you doing cramped up in the gym?  To “become one” with your mind, body, and soul; you need to do it in an environment that will allow you to accomplish this.  Our Yoga classes are done outdoors at the park and beach.  Instead of being confined to concrete walls, you have the beauty of enjoying your yoga workout surrounded by trees, clouds, and the sound of the beautiful ocean.

Every Monday and Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

You don’t have to travel too far to find the typical “masters swim” program in your neighborhood, that focuses on just endless laps in the pool in every workout.  You won’t find this old fashion way of swimming in a Swim X program.  Swim X focuses on the development of a swimmer as a whole.  We not only analyze your stroke from above and under water, but we also utilize innovative drills and exercises to spice up that boring pool workout.  This Team Move signature program incorporates resistance and core training to work specific muscles that you use during swimming, along with time in the water to work on form and technique. This is truly a program unlike anything else out there.

A game that needs no introduction, Dodgeball is your answer to boring workouts!  The game is simple, two teams or individuals, both armed with a ball, the first one that gets hit with a ball is eliminated! Though we must warn you it’s not that simple, in the meanwhile you’re running, sprinting, ducking, jumping, and doing just about anything to not get hit.  Dodgeball works on reaction time, hand/eye coordination, mixed in with practical movements and sprints in all directions that will keep your cardio level at an all time high!  Exercise has never been this much fun.

Rush Hour is a non-stop workout that will literally leave you breathless!  The locations of the workouts change, along with the exercises every class.  The workout is a combination of running, jogging, power walking, sprinting, jumping, and just about anything else you can do on two feet.  Not only does Rush Hour incorporate cardio to build your endurance and keep your heart rate up, but it also mixes in resistance training on benches, tables, walls, and just about anything that your imagination can think of!  Rush Hour is a workout that you have to feel to believe.  Great workout for runners or anyone looking for a challenge.  Rush Hour will change the way you do your runs forever!

Just the thought of crunches, can bring a grimace to anyone’s face.  HardCORE is NOT just for that six-pack that you see on super models.  This class trains the core like it should be trained, working on every single part of the core from the abdominal and lower back, to exercises that work the muscles that stabilize your body to develop balance and coordination skills that you tend to use in everyday life.  Not only are the exercises challenging with a mixture of cardio, strength training, and core training; but it can also be fun!  Each class is pumped with adrenaline to the sound of your favorite classic rock songs from the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s, sure to get your blood pumping!
